North Macedonia Adopts 2025 Budget with 4% Deficit and 3.7% GDP Growth Projection

North Macedonia’s Parliament has approved the 2025 budget, projecting a deficit of 41.3 billion denars, equivalent to 4% of the expected gross domestic product (GDP), alongside a forecasted GDP growth of 3.7%.

The Ministry of Finance outlined the budget, estimating total revenues at 358.8 billion denars and expenditures at 400.2 billion denars. The ministry described the plan as “development-focused with a strong social component.”

The budget also forecasts an inflation rate of 2.2%, aligning with its developmental and fiscal goals.
