Supported by EU funds under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026, the project aims to drastically cut greenhouse gas emissions while enhancing environmental standards in air traffic.

Zvonimir Savić, economic adviser to the Croatian Prime Minister, highlighted that Zadar Airport is the only airport in Europe financed through the Recovery and Resilience Plan, making it a pioneer in sustainable aviation technologies.

The initiative sets a new standard for Croatian airports, pushing towards greener, more sustainable air travel.
